There is a prophecy that should the pond ever be filled the lords of the deep shall awaken from their enduring slumber and return water to the skies, rejuvenating the land. Blessed are those that bring water to the temple to be purified and added to the divine pool. The priests will allow those in need to drink from the oasis, but they do require a testament of faith to the deep lords, that they should return in time and return the water taken.
