Nobody knows for sure who created this bridge, though a local Druid circle claims it was the work of a Cherry Treant. A long time ago the Celestial Empire called for the Wildwoods to honor an ancient alliance, but time was short and the quickest route was through the River Black. The treant sacrificed it's magic, beceming a normal tree in the process, to mold the bridge from earth to allow the Wildwoods forces to cross with speed. When the empire's battle against the forces of darkness looked most bleak a host of beasts, treants, shambling mounds and other forest-folk came to their aid. Now the Druids of the land keep a vigilant watch, guarding the tree that once was a Treant, believing will one day return to its former vessel and bring a new dawn to the Wildwoods. The Druids celebrate the Wildwood's and Celestial Empire's victory over darkness with a Lantern Festival to honor the dead.
