The third movie in Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy is a Lovecraftian horror that feels somewhat satirical at times with it's Stephen King side-references. One of the most striking images in "In the Mouth of Madness" is the Black Church in a massive open field in Hobb's End. Here we have a rendition of the church that could be used as a Paladin or Cleric lair (or anybody that has religious convictions). Or maybe it could be a holdout against a siege of undead.
