One of those shoots...
Added 2019-07-26 23:23:55 +0000 UTCI try to work with the client's ideas but when they ask for something like <that other shoot I thought was a complete failure> I'm sort of at a loss. I can't tell if it's working or not because I thought it was a total screwup the first time. Everything on the back of the camera looks terrible, so I guess we're succeeding?
This image is from one of those shoots. This is one I like, but it took a ton of work to get to this stage. The whole shoot was hit-or-miss and it makes me crazy. And every image the client chose was much harder to work with, for reasons I can't even begin to understand, and so I've delivered images I think are just awful.
There are a lot of images in there I like and I think I can make something fairly decent out of them, but... I'm quite sure she hates them and it's days like this that make me wonder if I know what I'm doing at all.
