This chapter went through an entire rewrite 📝—at first it leaned much darker, but something kept nudging us toward a softer, cozier path. Instead of pure horror, we found it more meaningful to let Daniel begin to enjoy his strange new life with Astrid. 🌙🍼 What started as terror is slowly transforming into a tender, unsettling comfort—and that felt like the right direction for this story to take. 💕
