What happened:

There is now a display as cards are being played to show the current damage.  It helps a lot to follow along with what it is going on.


AI!  The AI in Unyielding 2 is very, very bad.  Every unit walks towards the closest enemy, or attacks if it is in range.  It has no idea about moving out of bad geo tiles, and barrels confuse it.


The new AI is much better.  It knows how to flank and will often put itself in tiles that the player will struggle to deal with.  It almost beat me in the first match I tried it in.  It sitll has a long way to go.  


I'm only going to put the new AI on enemies that appear after the pixie fights in book 3.  I don't want new players to get smashed, and the dumb AI makes the game much easier.  I disabled the new AI on the new enemies for this release, but it will be in the next one.

What's next:

More AI.  Also, damage against the player has gotten pretty high.  The player characters need better defense options.
