Demo Build

Hello!  There isn't a story update this week.  What's going on is that the endings have a shared core.  There is a male version and a female version.  From there, they branch into their more specific endings.  I've written the core sections, but none of the actual branches yet.  So...I don't have anything to share yet.  Please be patient and I'll get the first ending out next release for sure.

In the mean time, I do have something to share from Unyielding 2!  The combat demo is ready to be played.  This is a demo, meaning it's incomplete, even for combat.  It shows what the combat will be like in UY2, but expect many changes between now and the final version.  Two quick things though.

There is some stuff hinted at in the end of UY1.  Some future character stuff.  In particular, stuff that revolves around Fray.  If you know what I mean, you probably won't find anything in the demo to be a spoiler.  If you don't know what I mean, you might find some content in the demo to be a spoiler.

The second thing is that this demo's splash screen says Fallen Down.  That is going to be the Steam name of the game.  The Patreon version will be Unyielding 2, and it will have it's own splash screen.  So when the demo says Fallen Down, don't worry about that.  It's really Unyielding 2, I just gotta hide that fact from prying eyes.

Have no fear. This demo is just the combat. UY2 will have plenty of story. I call this adventure mode, which is just the combat. Story mode will be very familiar to you.

Thank you for the demo! You mentioned this being level 1 of 3.. that seems a bit.. short? Is the gameplay based off expanding new game loops or some such? I understand that the sequel is very much it's own thing, but what lead me to the initial game in the first place was the plucky 'heroine', interesting lore and characters, fun transformations (never did get futa Cat, boo!), and of course, smexy slooty scenes. Regardless, I'll still be looking to see how this one shapes up though! Haha! Oh, forgot to mention it on the first post: love the artwork on the cards, lots of flavor and style in them.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll squash those bugs, every last one of them! My god, I forgot the bikini armor? An outrage! This is level 1 of 3. In level 2, you will easily acquire a second silver token. You can do it in level 1, but it's tough and won't happen all the time. That item that you got with those two silver tokens is pretty dang good though. That character with her weapon can easily shatter the boss one on one. The locks shouldn't be visible until you have 13 possible cards. I'll fixed that. If you keep playing and unlocking more slots per character, it will be come clear what they are for. I'm not going to add physical ranged attacks. There are already way too many weapons in the game. Maybe for DLC I'll add crossbows and ice attacks! It will always be be teams of 3 + the navigator. As for battle dialogue, the game is already slow paced. Adding in more cut scene-esque stuff would make it come to crawl. Thank you SO much for the feedback!
