I worked with kids Dawns age when this aired and she felt very much like her portrayal here I really felt for her. There was a discussion with another reactor where those of us who are the youngest in families tended to be more inclined to be less annoyed with Dawn obviously not scientific research but the comments seemed to back the theory up lol .

2025-05-20 17:58:50 +0000 UTCThe main stunt double this season is a former college all around gymnast, plus competed in aerobic championships. So we get really cool scenes like the opening one showing Buffy's level of control and balance, at least before Dawn's distraction.

2025-05-20 16:32:16 +0000 UTCWon’t have time to watch until later but in case anyone hasn’t mentioned yet, Dawn comes across a little immature at first because they initially wrote her to be 10 or 11 but SMG personally recommended Michelle Trachtenberg for the role and she was perfect for it, but the first few scripts of the season had already been written so at first she comes across as a very immature 14 year old
