Since you mentioned it, Mr. Filch was in the third movie, he pointed out where the fat lady from the painting went. This was my favorite of the books until the final one came out. Everything was fun and games before this, but Cedric Diggory dying meant shit got real. I remember being shocked it was a kids book, lent to me by an actual child! 😅 And it's harder to make connections in the movies, as the books use people's names all the time, so a couple quick bits: - When Harry was watching the court scene the prisoner mentions knowing who used the Cruciatus Curse on the Longbottoms, he means Neville's parents. - Speaking of parents, both of Draco's friends parents were with the Death Eaters, Crabbe and Goyle. No wonder they get along so well!

I agree that the first half of the movie kinda drags a bit but the back half makes up for it, and shit gets real from here on 🤣🤣 Also I’m sure you’d look it up but you were right about this being the halfway point of eight movies, next up is the order of the phoenix, then half-blood prince and deathly hallows 1 and 2 are the end of the series
