While they haven't said too much about her parents (unless I just forgot which always happens) I wonder if she see's him as a father figure she never had. Also I do like that Wesley has layers. I did agree with him on some points but of course like the Scooby Gang I think with my heart lol. He made some great points though. Also Snyder definitely looked liked he is having 2nd thoughts. Although I can see him staying loyal due to the fear of the Mayor.

2025-02-16 07:23:51 +0000 UTCJust think about the opening scene and you have your answer to what Faith's look was about at the end of that stand-off. Speaking of Faith looks, her subtle change of expression after Willow tells her "It's way too late" is telling, especially after she response post-punch with, "You hurt me, I hurt you." It's normal to be creeped out by her and the mayor's relationship but there are layers there worth digging into to fully appreciate what's going on internally with her character. It's not about how we see him, it's about how SHE sees him and how he sees her. Snyder's face after seeing the mayor rejuvenate also tells us maybe he's re-evaluating what he thought he knew up until now. And finally, Wesley - he's pompous, whiny, a little pervy and a coward. But he's also honorable, dedicated, a big picture thinker and, in this scenario, not wrong. Just cold and calculated from lack of experience in the field with other people.
