Could not stand Buffy and Angel's relationship, Angel himself was kind of meh as a character for me (didn't love him, didn't hate him, thought Angelus was way more interesting). But I was totally on the side of cursing Angel again if possible.

In S1 he was creepy, stalkery and catching attitudes with Buffy b/c she wasn't into him, WHILE simultaneously knowing Willow was into him and did not gasf. S2 he still a creepy, jealous lil punk, but in this and the next episode, I really grew to dislike him as a person. Naw, Acathla is not something based off of actual mythoi. Typically in media when they mention demons of lore, they refer to the Ars Goetia a.k.a. the Lesser Key of Solomon, or Lemegeton, referenced in the Bible. You can find out their names, titles, sigils, descriptions, powers, etc. explained on Wikipedia. Do not draw the sigils, please. lol Would have tried to save Angel. Someone without a soul (given various media) is a totally different person, and we've already seen it in this show given who Angelus was versus Angel. Glad you saw through Xander's BS. lol

I love watching your reactions and I could easily consume two per day but whatever is manageable for you is what matters!

2024-12-20 17:15:26 +0000 UTCThank you for pointing out how obvious it is about Xander not wanting to re-ensoul Angel; he hated Angel before he even lost his soul so he's just using Jennys murder as a tool to validate his hatred which was already there. Becoming is Xander at his worst imo. Angelus is not Angel- they share body and memories but Angelus' lack of a soul is the major distinction.
