2024-12-24 22:26:44 +0000 UTCi think you may have missed it but the "angel" did notice when erin was cutting its wings, but she grabbed it by the back of the head and forced it back down into her wound and it couldn't stop drinking after that. that's one thing i love about it, it mirrors riley's drinking. it will keep going even though it's hurting itself. even though it's being shot, even though gasoline is being dumped on it, even though its wings are being cut. it finished off its secret source of food within a night and had to start luring in select humans, making feeding much more difficult. it is actively sabotaging itself basically every time we see it drink, something riley said he experienced. "there is a saboteur living inside me."

The tone of it is just slightly skewed younger but still very raw & emotional just clearly made for teens/YA but I'd hardly call it a children's show lol Trust you'll still be creeped out and jump scared. And it's PACKED with Midnight Mass actors which you'll appreciate now since you've watched. And Heather! And some of the newbies to the Flanaverse that are talented AF per usual. Not to sway your order of watch but I personally wouldn't mind you doing Midnight Club for your next Flanagan show, it's still a good time just lower on the list of his masterpieces lol Also some Midnight Club newbies are in House of Usher too. Crossing my fingers you still cover it eventually. Thank you for the reactions! Watching this again with you was great.
