Hello everyone ;)
As I mentioned earlier, I have already finished the final draft of the book, and I hope it's being printed now. So, these last weeks I have spent time intensely painting this large Angel of Darkness model. I'd like to remind you once again that this model is quite huge. The wingspan of this character is just over 90 cm. It's the first time I've painted such a large and heavy model in my life. I had moments of doubt and weakness during the painting process, but ultimately, I'm glad I had the opportunity to paint such an incredible model ;).
In the PDF, you can find a description of my struggles with matte white paint. Fortunately, I found a solution to that problem, so I wrote about it to ensure you don't make the same mistake I did and avoid using too much matte white paint. In the PDF, you can find general information about why I painted a single intense light source on this model. I also provided examples of why it's worth creating color sketches for the entire model before painting the details.
Thank you for supporting me here. I'm waiting for a package from Games Workshop with Fulgrim Transfigured and this will be my next project. I can't wait to see this model and paint more wings :D
