Thank you for your kind words ;). If you have just started painting, it is better to start with detailed models and well carved. For example my latest model The Wrath is very difficult to paint. The model has a lot of flat surfaces, without visible edges. So I need to add a lot of shapes, lights and shadows. And also the sculpt is not so good quality (the miniature is for gaming). It's also a good idea to choose a model that we only check from front and back. then it is easier to paint a good light and shadows on it. The Wrath is a fragmented model,I mean he has a lot of separated elements. so painting him with good light is also difficult.
