Update: Finished! Got it all colored, glittered and Barbie logo plastered. Now he is all ready for watching the pinkest film of the year ;p

Finally got around digitally doing the lineart. I imagine I will have it colored and done soon.

I did a redesign. The dress is now more prom like and the sash is now a fabric like silk or something instead of rounded fur. It's now more accurate to the old dolls I referenced, which I think is what I didnt like about the other version. It wasn't close enough to what I tried to reference. But I'm feeling better about this draft ^^

The backstory with this one would be a big brother being mean to his sister, maybe breaking a barbie doll, ruining some party, the typical stuff in these kinda stories. So his mother has him go see the new barbie movie with her, but ofc he has to go dressed for the occassion.

I looked to older barbie dolls for inspiration and found a small theme of ''puffy sleeveless dress with some kinda sash around the arms'' so i used that as the base inspiration for the outfit. I'm not totally confident in the design just yet, but I want to have this concept made when the movie is still somewhat relevant.

I havent seen the movie myself yet, the plot of ''barbie goes to the real world'' does intrigue me and I bet there are some outfits to get inspiration from. But I also dont wanna be that guy who goes alone to see the barbie movie, even though it would be just the ticket seller guy I would need to interact with, it feels like a big hurdle, haha.
