From the dynamic among soshi members i’v seen, while Seohyun is the real maknae who others always doted on, Tiffany is a “fake” maknae in a way that members love to play pranks on (bc she is adorable maybe due to the language&cultural barrier). You can see they have played prank on her through out the years it's become inside joke I’d say. To me, they treated her like a baby sister who need special attention if that make sense lol.

a moment that's hard to catch but that is super cute in this is when yoona brings over the watermelon, and taeyeon immediately tells them to let her pass the watermelon first. taeng has this soft spot for yoona and i think it comes from a shared burden, back in the day she even said she felt sorry for yoona for being the "face of the group" bc it put her to a lot of scrutiny. ik this is reading a lot into the moment, but i always thought their relationship was cute 🥺

So Taeyeon is a great leader (though, she didn't want to be the leader lol) in the way JiU is a great leader. It's mostly what we don't see. The really important things happening in the background or at home. Like they said she takes care of them without telling them. Does things for them or buys them things without telling them or without them asking. And just little stuff here like her choosing Sooyoung's car because no one else did and she felt bad. Even more recent stuff from 2022 (when she's no longer the leader) she still calls them her kids and looks at them all sweet like a proud mother lol

taeyeon is not really an obvious leader. 5 of the oldest snsd members are all born in the same same year, and they all have strong personalities that run wild, and taeyeon is more of a quiet person. she leads from the back. tho i would say that all the members have huge respect for her, and when she does step up to decide something all of them listen to her.

But seriously, (in this show or ever) you are rarely going to see Taeyeon lead in a way that you probably expect of a leader. Because Taeyeon is not a typical leader. It's been a struggle and journey for her. It's my personal opinion but I think SNSD is still as strong as ever because of Taeyeon is the leader. The oldest's and youngest's age gap is just 2 years. Taeyeon became a leader just because she's the oldest. When they were doing group activities, taeyeon is usually at the back or giving to others more screentime. She is "When you were made a leader, you weren't given a crown; you were given the responsibility to bring out the best in others." type of leader. That's why SNSD's Taeyeon and soloist Taeyeon feels different. She's on the quite side in SNSD but still it's snsd. She has some kind of subtle madness with weirdness. (side note: 2015 wasn't the best year for taeyeon)

1. Hyo has been known to be the cheater when they play games. They basically just let it go always because they are used to her doing for years. And it's funny. 2. They relied more on Sunny because she has gained a lot of connections and experience to many things due to her variety show works (ever since Invincible Youth) so she usually knows her way around to most of the things they need. 3. Yuri might be the best cook now but at this time she has not really gotten to cooking yet. Yoona was the best one out of them by this time. 4. Extroverts at this time were Tiffany, Sooyoung, Yoona and Yuri. 5. Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, Yuri and Yoona are the jokers of the group. 6. Taeyeon is also known to be bad at Rock-Paper-Scissors. It's been a thing since TTS. LoL 7. Because some of them as actors, they sometimes unconsciously role play in some situations, especially Sooyoung. For example, that moment when Yuri is scolding Sooyoung for her bad driving. They are so unserious.

Taeyeon is a silent leader. Taking care mostly behind the scene. She always wait the girls decide first. As you can see when they choose driver. To be honest, in this variety show, taeyeon is not really shine as she mentioned in an interview, she gives other members to shine because she already has so much spotlight on her during her solo project and subunit projects. She already has 2 variety shows before soshi channel is created. Daily Taengoo Cam and The TaeTiSeo.

Channel Soshi was interesting though not their most funn variety but it is a good start😊 Many variety contents with good quality & eng sub can be find from this web that sones make https://soshitv.net/ i think that intimate note is one of their funniest variety of all time, definitely recommend you to watch it ! Latest wise will be Soshi tamtam, their latest group variety since Channel Soshi, which is very interesting also.

YAAAAAAAAY My snsd !! Regarding Taeyeon being a leader, she was more restrained than many leaders we usually see. She stayed more in the corner and let the more extroverted girls take the lead when they were in public. But the girls always said that she was the type who listened when they needed someone, that she remedied arguments and that she ended up putting herself in the background, always letting the girls have their moment. Something like, you'll almost never see her acting like a real Jihyo, her work was more behind the scenes, I don't know if I managed to explain it correctly.
