I see a couple requests for itnw ballad version at Tokyo Dome, and I'd like to just recommend refraining from reacting until you get to know the girls better and becoming attached to OT9 and soshi bond. Tokyo Dome was the first concert after Jessica's departure (and pretty sure she was even supposed to perform there as a farewell concert) but things went to shit and well tldr its a very emotional stage for both the girls and fans, tbh a very emotional concert as a whole so yeah! Other reactors have said that they would have preferred getting to know the girls more but bc it's usually so heavily requested they watch it early on. So totally up to you guys but I feel you guys would like the sentiment!

If ever there was a video that y'all needed to watch to understand SNSD's and I Got a Boy's popularity and impact, it's that Dream Concert video. It's legendary. At the Dream Concert in 2008 (just a year after SNSD debuted), the fans in the stadium (mostly Cassiopeias (TVXQ fans) and ELFs (Super Junior fans)) organized to give the girls an infamous Black Ocean and chant "Wonder Girls" throughout ITNW (largely because they didn't appreciate that SNSD were friendly with their oppas 🙄 and other (truly) bs reasons). But at the Dream Concert 5 years later, SNSD is the final act, closing the concert, and the crowd were chanting and singing along to IGAB louder than the girls themselves. REDEMPTION ARC. The fancams are INSANE. After the initial broadcast of the concert, KBS fixed the audio, overlaying it with a clean, recorded version of the song and quieting the crowd noise (boooooo)
