Between her intellect and grace, it was no surprise why many looked up to her in some form or another. Than Rae Taylor appeared in her life; this lowly commoner was making a name for herself as she outshone Claire in many subjects, even beating her in a magical duel! She couldn’t let that stand! Claire challenged Rae to a private duel in the forbidden forest. There she would illustrate the superiority of her nobility over this commoner who kept embarrassing her in front of both her friends and peers with all the loud declarations of love and her antics. Seriously who in their right mind would wake her up in the middle of the night for a good night hug? Rae Taylor, that’s who. Rae eagerly accepted Claire’s challenge, teasingly taunting her with their current record when it came to a magical duel. That struck a nerve with the noble woman, being forcibly reminded how Rae merely defeated her with pitfalls and, to add insult to injury, Rae was holding back that entire fight. Claire knew this fight would be different but didn’t expect Rae NOT to bring her wand. Yet was so smug, so cocky. Why? It was than that Rae declared herself the winner to the perplexed Claire Francois. Should Claire cast her fire magic, as stated by Rae, it would undoubtedly set the forest ablaze. This wasn’t an official match, off academy grounds. An inferno would get attention, the kind of attention that would reflect poorly on them, especially Claire given her noble status. Unconsciously dropping her wand, the despondent Claire admitted defeat. Rae approached her, comforting her in that annoying manner of hers. That tender, unguarded moment between the two ladies left them unaware of the vines silently slithering towards their ankles. The duo found themselves ensnared in a flash. Without their wands they had no way of freeing themselves. Curiously the vines began ripping off their stockings and shoes. They struggled, forcing any movement they could muster in their restricted forms to deter the perverted foliage. It was for naught; their wonderful bare feet were exposed to the world for any and all to see. Rae’s compliments about Claire’s red polish mattered little as more vines approached their bare soles. They struck with the speed of a viper, tickling them with intense vigor. The forests echoed with their laughter with the vines discovering their weak spots and attacked their feet with lickles. Oh how humiliating it was for Claire to be discovered in such a state by the other students. Rae though?
