Expressing emotion was always a struggle for Shenhe. That much was clear when Cloud Retainer took her under her wing as a child. Despite the progress made in recent years, Shenhe was still socially awkward. She was perfectly fine with people like Xiangling, Ganyu, Lumine, and Xianyun. Speaking of which, the latter invited her over after work. Shenhe would never refuse a dinner invitation from Cloud Retainer. Both she and Ganyu loved spending time with their master/adopted mother, which was made all the more easier when she moved to Liyue Harbor under the name ‘Xianyun’. And like the mama bird that she was, Xianyun expressed her concerns with Shenhe’s social awkwardness. Shenhe denied that such issues were as severe as she was making it out to be! Her job requires her to talk with customers! Xianyun than asked about the weather. A seeming distraction from the conversation. Though how to continue? It was a sunny day, that was it. Her delivery was flat and didn’t leave a way to continue the conversation, much to Xianyun’s disappointment. She could have pointed out how hot it was, how it affected some of her customers, or if it led to anything interesting happening at work today. Shenhe took in her master’s words. Now that she mentioned it, she vaguely recalled some men making comments towards her? Something about her being hot? But she had a Cryo vision. Hence why Xianyun offered her assistance, a method Ganyu learned from Lady Ningguang involving rope and her being barefoot. The Cryo Exorcist thought it was rather unorthodox but there was always a method to her master’s teachings. This shouldn’t be any different, hence why she agreed. Confused the exorcist saw the Cloud Retainer grab a feather and explained how they were going to have a " casual conversation by turns", starting with a casual weather topic, but once was Shenhe turn, she had no idea what to reply. Time for a punishment, the feather slowly reaching the big exposed Arches, a single stroke was enought to form a smile for the surprise of everyone, specially Shenhe, after all, she was a thought girl , but that was precisely the twist of this, she wasnt used to feel something soft on her body. It was to her benefit even if it somehow involved a feather lightly stroking her big, exposed arches. It felt like tiny, electric pulses shotting up her legs, forcing a smile upon her face. Xianyun was really inmerse in this but didn’t let this new distracting feeling from getting in the way of holding conversation, going through various subjects like work, food, fashion, and associates. To her own surprise, Shenhe was able to endure and conversed throughout the tickling. But her pale and already blush soles were starting to give up, this woman has a lot of resistance, so the session might require more time . Xianyun introduced a second feather a few minutes later. It proved too much, Shenhe burst into laughter with both feathers caressing her soles. But she was a proud student of Cloud Retainer and would endure!
