Added 2024-12-18 08:26:35 +0000 UTCAlear was exhausted. Sombron’s minions, the Corrupted, were tough. It seemed they were always stronger and faster no matter how hard they trained. Oh and the never-ending reinforcements at times. Hard to forget about that. As such every battle was a difficult one, even the skirmishes. It was Maddening. Needless to say it took a significant mental and physical toll on the Divine Dragon. The last battle was the straw the broke the broke the camel’s metaphoric back; Alear just collapsed onto the couch in the Somniel’s café, too exhausted to climb the stairs to her room. The others just looked onto the passed-out Divine Dragon who still wore her armor. Alear would have scolded when they forgot to take off their armor after battle. Were they okay with giving her a pass? Sure she was the Divine Dragon and, yes, she was tired but it still seemed hypocritical. The rest of the army unanimously decided that Vander, Clanne, and Framme ought to be responsible for handling the snoozing Alear. They were the Stewards of the Divine Dragon after all, it was their duty to tend to her needs. Though Framme found herself alone shortly after. Her twin brother was badly injured in the last battle and Vander took it upon himself to ensure Clanne got rest. She was not at all bothered by this turn of events. It was just her, Alear, and a pair of Divine Dragon feet still stuffed in those boots. It was just like their other private sessions when it was just the two of them, albeit with Alear fast asleep. This time it would be a lesson that even the Divine Dragon had to respect the rules she herself set for the Somniel. Having found some rope, Alear was tied up and bare foot.
