If an average human in this world can lift approximately 180lb/82kg/13 Stone, the average Vorso can lift 240lb/109kg/17 Stone. Adept would be able to lift about 310lb/140kg/22 Stone. This is all untrained fyi. An untrained Vorso can lift about 34% more than a untrained human. Adept if untrained can lift about 72% more than an untrained human. This is only for their humanoid forms. When shifting the strength level will change with their species types. This strength along with their species abilities make them very effective warriors. But the Vorso also have access to magic if they choose to go through the proper channels to access it like the Academies of the Church. Ex. Vittoria is a Vorso/Storia but also has access to magic because of her studies.

2024-06-22 23:27:23 +0000 UTCIf Seia and Adept had kids, it’s very likely they’d receive god blessed magic, shifting abilities and enhanced strength. Although certain gifts might be lessened to balance their powers. Atlus did not have elemental magic in the same way some of the other gods received their gifts. His main gift was super strength. The Vorso in their humanoid forms are already strong, and in their shifted forms they’re even stronger. They can also hold this form for a long while before needing any rest. Magic users have a variety of weaknesses that put them at a more even playing field. Such factors can be limited numbers of magic users, large magic drawbacks, etc.

Also could vorso do magic besides shapeshifting? like isn't adept is considered a descendant of Atlus, shouldn't he be able to do at least a little bit. If they can't use magic, do they have magic weapons or something it seems like super strong animalshifter vs. magic casters isn't a fair fight.

Seia treated Adept almost like a trophy at first, but stopped doing it sometime between Parts 2 and 3 (maybe b/c she just got to know him better or had some crisis of conscience where she realized that the cruel attitude, while personally satisfying for her, was counterproductive to her goals). I feel like there's still this hesitance and guilt she seems to project every now and then, like she wants to be closer with Adept (even if it were only in a platonic sense), but she can't ever take back that first impression. Every time it seems like there's been a breakthrough, Seia or Adept hit some kind of snag. Not a complaint; it makes for good drama, and there's no shortage of legitimate issues causing tension between them. Great slow-burn overall, tbh.
