I listened to this song back in 2015, and this year, this month even it's hitting a bit harder than usual. So in a way, this is going to kind of be a love letter to ya'll. It's been a long and exhausting year. I've been growing as a person and ya'll have given me the strength and confidence to leave things behind that weren't good for me. And although it all hurts and feels terrible, I always know that I will have people behind me, and genuinely I mean ya'll. You are my home in some ways and I feel safe and happier. So thank you for having my back and enjoying my content. I really love you all. Thanks again, for everything. I feel free. Stay cosy and sleep well.

This really tugs at heartstrings. I love my life today, but for me that song brings about this feeling of somewhat sad nostalgia which I found encapsulated in a line from another song: Every child loses something a whole life can't fulfill.
