Lil update
Added 2022-04-12 00:18:08 +0000 UTCUGH. I'm very frustrated because my lovely tablet, which I haven't even had for a year, is having some issue connecting to my PC so I'm currently drawing on my lil portable tablet which is not as nice! uwah.
Oh well, I've drawn this on my portablet and it was fun and all, just not as smooooth as my new tablet. Hopefully the replacement part arrives soon so I can have my lovely drawing experience baaaaack!
This! Is Ronin. I have a bunch of doodles diddling around my brain and ideas to make a comic and this is *sort of* the point of view character. It's very (witcher but what if gay and lesbian and not written by men for men) and a lot about relationship dynamics and fate and trauma. at least. so far...
in my artsy heart of hearts I want to render out each page and make every page a colourful piece of art... But, I am well aware of how much work that would actually be! So, while I'm starting it out, it will be your standard fare monochrome.
Other life stuff:
I am in the tiny calm between two storms after moving Sticky, covering lots of shifts at Sticky (Covid still a thing huh) and running workshops and prepping for Conquest.
I would ideeeeeally like to put out more products to sell at Conquest this year, but the reality is that people there simply do not want to buy art prints and the like and I do not have the time to get some works together. The only way I profit from Conquest is from on the day commission sales, which are limited because I'm a bit too extra what with painting and rendering them like the perfectionist I am.
Ah. And I'm also trying to drum up more commission business, but it seems the way to promote nowadays is... with tiktok. So it's something I will attempt... Hoowee.
