An update!

In Patreon news: I'm going to start printing and shipping postcards/ little zines/ little creations. I want to be able to give back to all of my patrons, so anyone on the $5+ level shall receive monthly gifts, which I think will be good for me, because I need a more tangible way to reach out to y'all. I'll be messaging anyone at $5 to get your shipping details within the next few days!
Now onto untangling my brain mess...
We've had some crazy lockdown shenanigans here with the aussie government just straight up denying vaccinations. So my stress has been so high about that. I just want some peace of mind about covid.
I've been fighting both myself and clients in order to be paid a living wage. I've had to be very firm about valuing my time and it's done a number on me. I suppose growth does come with a handful of pain.
I've been offered a residency in Melbourne, so one day a week I work on traditional art in a studio space which I love. so. much. The responsibility of the artists in this space is to organise and host creative workshops and events for the local community. Which is all so so soooo exciting but also a bit more pressure.
As a result of all this upheaval, I've had commissions closed for most of May, I'll be reopening them again on the third, but I think I will have to limit myself in how much I take on. Which hurts my heart because I just so love the process! 4 commissions a month is my current thought, so that's something to bear in mind as I reopen!
