Hunted
Added 2020-08-15 06:00:13 +0000 UTCA concept, a feeling. While doing research on local manufacturers (I wanna get my pins made locally!) I found more information on card deck manufacturing and one of the things I so so want to do in the future is design and print my own tarot deck. Stuff feels more achievable now. And with covid keeping us inside and locked away, I'm missing my friends, and all the things we would do together in the city. It's sad, but on the bright side? I'm saving the money I would be spending on social outings and adventuring. I have since been able to buy myself a decent, eco-friendly printer. I'm feeling more able to create more personal works, I'm nurturing ambitions to create more personal works to distribute!
The last few months I've been rattling tarot deck concepts around in my head. I am the sorta creature that needs a brief. So you know I'll be writing one up for a deck. One solid stone concept has stuck, and has presented itself in my work an awful lot. Just the word Hunted. It's a reflection of a myriad of feelings and contemplation I've had during this lockdown, and I believe as a concept, it serves me well.
I have so many ideas branching off of this concept. I can't wait to iterate more.
