Hyrule's biggest secret

Here's the first story as agreed. For this one, I used images made by ia because I feel that the 3d models of the Zelda universe that I own are not up to scratch (I intend to try and remake them). The next ones will use 3d models, enjoy your reading ^^

This story takes place three years after the events of Tears of the Kingdom. Gerudo City

-Happy birthday chief!
-To your majority!
-Thank you all, I never thought I'd reach this point, considering what's happened to us.
-You're about to embark on your journey Chief
-What do you mean, Beterah?
-Your status as chief doesn't exempt you from finding a husband.
-What but... I can't leave the city alone in my search.
-I'm aware of that, which is why I've set up an observation mission to find a Voi worthy of you.
-Thank you, Beterah, but let's talk about it after the party, shall we?
-Aye, aye, sir.

The party continued late into the night. Several soldiers fell asleep due to alcohol or food. Riju made her way to her room and saw sheets of paper on her desk, surely the results of the mission commissioned by Beterah. The young gerudo didn't even bother to look at them and sank onto her bed with a sigh.

-You're thinking about him, aren't you?
-AHHHHH Beterah, I asked you to stop doing that!
-And I told you not to relax your attention, even here, you're not a child anymore.
-Yes, yes, but what were you talking about when you arrived?
-I'm simply talking about Link.
-I'm not interested in...
-Come on, chief, ever since your battle with him against Vah'Naboris, your eyes have been twinkling at the slightest mention of him.
-I... He's in a relationship with Zelda.
-I see you haven't heard, Chief.
-Know about what?
- Princess pardon Queen Zelda is not married to Link, nor is she in a relationship with him.
-Are you serious?
-Yes, it seems he'd rather stay a knight than become prince consort.
-So I've got my chances...
-You're not thinking of...
-Si Beterah, tomorrow I'm going to look for him!

The next day, Riju packed up her belongings and began her search for Link in the kingdom of Hyrule. The gerudo found herself following rumors of the Hylian hero's actions, going from one end of the country to the other but arriving too late every time. For several weeks, Riju, exhausted and somewhat disgusted, decided to return to the Gerudo city. She stopped off at an inn in one of the recreated towns. After washing up, she lay down in bed, wondering where Link was hiding when she suddenly heard his voice through the thin walls.

-I'm warning you, it's in the same condition as usual.
-I know, but you're still pretty......
-I told you, not use this word. Do you want me to correct you?
-No no, let's go big boy.

Riju put her ear to her ears to hear better and was shocked to hear Link clearly making love to another man. Her heart clenched, she who had wanted to make it her voï for so long, her dream seemed to fall apart. All the more so as the young Hylian seemed to be enjoying himself immensely. Riju went to bed totally saddened, but then pulled herself together. She was convinced that Link didn't just like men and decided to talk to him the next day. She fell asleep to the cries of pleasure from her neighbors. The next morning, the gerudo was awakened by the sun and slipped into Link's room. She slowly approached the bed, Link still asleep. Once within reach, Riju couldn't believe her eyes: Link, Princess Zelda's knight, had the sex of a woman.

-How is that possible?
-hum that....Riju?!
-Link, what is it?
-It's seem I can't hide it anymore.

-since when?
-Since when what?
-That you have a female genitalia? Is that a side effect of the Zonai technology?
-Not at all, I've always been like this.
-What about the rest? Where are your breasts, your hips?
-AH that... That's my father, he wanted a boy so badly he decided to raise me that way and to make sure my body wouldn't betray me, he gave me potions to freeze my body that way.
-WHAT AN OUTRAGE!
-Why do you think that?
-He stole your life as a woman! As a Gerudo, I'm outraged!

At these words, a memory resurfaced in Link's mind, that of a tender moment between Urbosa and himself 100 years ago, and he began to smile.

-You sound like Urbosa, you must be related.
-Did the great Urbosa know about you?
-Yes, she found out just like you did. You must have heard me last night, I presume?
-Yes, but why are you doing this?
-I may be an adventurer and a knight, but sometimes I get sexual urges.
-Aren't you afraid he'll share your secret?
- They know the risks if they talk.
-I see, and Zelda knows about you?
-No, that's why I'm not even married to her.
-But Link, do you like women too?
-Yes, it was Urbosa who gave me my first experience... She also wanted to do something else.
-And what was that?
-Make me a gerudo.
-In spirit?
-Not only in spirit, but also physically, and give me the life I deserve as a woman.
-But how?
-She was talking about an ancient ritual.
-Then I'll take this back.
-I beg your pardon, Riju?
-Yes Link, you deserve this life and as leader of the gerudos you have my word.

The two friends left the inn and returned to the Gerudo city to begin their search. Riju, aware that Link's presence was going to cause problems, decided, with his agreement, to reveal her secret to her people. The warriors were somewhat surprised, but soon accepted Link into their midst. Weeks went by, and while Riju continued to search for the ritual, Link learned the habits and customs of the Gerudos culture. He even decided to change his name, taking Linara and asking to be gendered as a woman. One evening, the Gerudos chieftain shouted with joy: she had finally found the ritual and couldn't wait to use it on Linara, who in time had become more than a friend. The ritual was attempted a few days later, and the effects were soon visible on the future gerudo's body.

As the weeks went by, Linara's body continued to change from Hylian to full Gerudo form, even if the ritual seemed to have worked a little too well for Riju, who confessed to being jealous of her future wife's breasts.

The wedding was sumptuous, and even the Queen of Hyrule made the trip, graciously accepting the destiny of her former knight. Linara declared that she would remain faithful to the service of the kingdom and that she would never fail in her duty. Once the honeymoon was over, the two Gerudos began to search among the men of the kingdom for those who would be worthy of them. Their quest had but one goal: to perpetuate the noble line of Riju and Linara. But one final question remained: which of them would bear a child first? Fate would tell, but for now, they were ready to face this new future together.

EPILOGUE

hyrule castle, two guards chat as they watch the night sky.

-Ah, it's the blood moon tonight.
-It's strange that it's still showing up, I thought Ganon's death would make it disappear.
-According to our scientists, he's affected it so much that it's going to continue for a few more years.
-Fortunately, there are no more monsters.
