I just think that Microsoft is trying to go to a services program. I had to use Excel through a web API the other day and I felt like my computer had gone into slow motion. I have about six computers and the least powerful one has eight cores and 16 threads so I'm all for local apps. I'm just thinking if they can't figure out how to make it an Xbox app they ain't going to want to do it

I just think it should run some full version of windows, period. Maybe it can be a lower-resource budget version of Windows that's partially locked down - but at a minimum it should let you download almost any app and use any university program (Like Matlab) for example.

You mentioned the Xbox should move more to pc. You also talked about a version of Xbox that could boot either into Xbox or windows. Do you think that if XBox had an edge browser in it and they made agreements with universities to host azure servers to handle Matlab and other engineering type programs to be web-based, that an Xbox with a web browser could be the computer solution and you're using a virtual windows?
