Intel just released a new lga 1700 lineup without ecores so i have two questions. Is this a admission that the e-cores where largly responsible for the problems with raptorcove cpus or was this something that they had lined up way before and i just missed it. We saw how useless LPE cores where in meteorlake, will this be the fate of every e-core in about 4-6 years? My buddy has a 13600k and do you guys think the e-cores will just be a bother in a few years for the owners of these chips or are they just fine.

2024-07-21 18:56:38 +0000 UTCIs AMD/Intel wasting precious silicon by integrating specialized AI circuits? Would it not be better to make the GPU do the heavy lifting here?
