I’d wait to see when the 5080 comes out, it “should” be cheaper and more powerful than a 4090, it probably won’t come out until Q2-Q4 of 2025 but still, see what is more convenient for you. The 3090 is still a good card, I think you could wait, I have a friend who is still rocking a 1080ti with 4K gaming, and he will upgrade when the 5090 comes out. In the end, see what is the best for you man

2024-04-01 15:34:59 +0000 UTCI’m currently in a bit og s pickle, i really want an upgrade over my rtx 3090. I’ve been looking at the 4090 for around 1600-1700 euro, but i can’t seem to figure out if it’s better to wait for a 5090 and hopefully get that on launch. Depending on the price, if it launches at 2500 euro, i’d rather have the 4090. Do you have any knowledge on how soon the 5090 might launch, maybe oktober, september or maybe even later.
