Curious if you have any thoughts/additonal info on Keplar's comments about the PS5 Pro using BVH8 for RT which is RDNA4; also is 10% I crease in CPU clocks a sufficient uplift for currently CPU bottlenecked titles

2024-03-17 23:09:58 +0000 UTCHello, a little late. I was wondering : - is Ray tracing overhyped? In most games, the visual quality is really better and it kills your frame rate. And in Alan wake 2, it strangely grainier than the raster version - Is seems than Amdto be treated harsher than Nvidia and Intel in graphic department. Intel seems to have a pass because we want a third competitor. In most recommandation, amd need to be faster and cheaper me. Fsr had a bad reputation even it is pretty much the same as dlss. And when you look at the coverage of amd feature, there is some major difference: you can easily find video for ray reconstruction and almost none for frame generation. At this time, for example, gamer nexus do not have a video on Fsr 3 or frame gen. So what amd need to do to change that perception of a cheaper less option less powerful graphic card? Is raster does not count anymore?
