Thanks for your thoughts man. Hopefully you get over that cold sooner than later.

It's not comparable to Nvidia. So many people now say "Hey we want AMD servers." It's really just REALLY old people left with that Intel mentality at this point, and boomers are retiring right about now. As Millennials enter more leadership positions...NONE of them have this "only Intel" mentality.

Moore's Law Is Dead

Concerning Intel. Is it possible that many companies will continue to stick with Intel, even though AMD is coming with some extremely competitive products in the server market? I am comparing this phenomenon to the sheer amount of folks that will never buy anything but Nvidia GPU's, even if the competition is pretty damn good. I hear what you guys are saying about Meta and all that, but I think some companies probably will hold the line with Intel....for now. Basically, I want to see Intel and AMD continue to trade blows because everybody is benefiting from their heavy CPU competition. What I don't want is to see AMD dominate everything and then stagnate, like Intel did for a lot of the 2010's. Clearly they (Intel) are not where they need to be, but we can hope they get their ass in gear and give consumers and clients the best they can in the next 2 years. I fully realize that Intel has numerous issues, but I don't want to write a 1 mile long comment..lol. Another excellent discussion this week!
