build update

This week went better than the last. Of course, it's hard to imagine it going worst. Lol.
I am putting the finishing touches on the tutorial. It feels like I've been working on that forever so I am happy to be able to get to something else soon. ^_^
My lovely wife found her footing after that devastating news. I only gave her half quota for last week to make sure not to overwhelm her and that seemed to have worked well. I also took a day off so we could relax and talk.
She is mystified at her own reaction to the cancer news. She's a tough woman but the news hit her hard. If you had asked her how she would react to that kind of news before, she would have answered like I would have. It would be a sucky news but you take it on the chin and move forward. But in reality, it knocked her on her ass for a while.
It goes to show that you never truly know how you'll react to something until it happens to you. Something to keep in mind as we progress through life.

She IS damn impressive. ^_^ She's still somewhat wobbly but is already back into the swing of things.

2022-05-26 12:35:15 +0000 UTCNews like that is less sucker punch and more rug pull. It steals your balance and footing before the real impact and the best you can hope for is to avoid breaking in the landing. Regardless of the bruises being back on her feet so quickly is damn impressive.
