Rule of thumb: your GPU should have at least as much VRAM as current consoles have total RAM -- the games still have to work within that limit regardless of the desktop GPU market. If the consoles are a couple of years old, and you want to "future proof", bump the memory up by 50%. So where's my 24 GB RTX 4080? /jk
