Hey everyone!
I am still in the midst of coding the "where are my troops at a glance" function. I had a false start of it. I was trying to do something super fancy but realized that it actually got in the way of the "at a glance" part of the equation. Lol. So I went with little squares for the troop pic for you to tell by color as you can see up there.
After I am done with that, I am thinking of doing a bit of an overall to the fighting system to give you guys more input on what's going on. Skills that affect the other side of the battle will target the corresponding position.
Example 1: A Vargs, which kicks fighters out of battle, that is position 3 of their battle order will always kick the troop that is in position 3 on your side (if there are no troops there, it will do nothing)
Example 2: Your archer in position 1 of your army will snipe a flyer in position 1 of the enemy army if there are some. But the flyer in position 3 of the enemy army will be unaffected by that particular archer.
I think that that will make the fights a lot more fun as you'll feel more in control of what's going on.
That's pretty much it. I'm plugging away at it. ^_^
