An Unfortunate Update on Reesie
Added 2022-11-22 20:16:01 +0000 UTCThere's no easy way to announce this...Reesie finally just lost her battle with Cancer this morning. She put up one heck of a fight though - she lasted half a year despite only being given a few months to live when she was diagnosed this Spring.
Last night we spent her last evening doing one of her favorite activities - watching Deer at the park! She remained a goofball till the last minute whining at them from her copilot seat in my car.
Today, on her last morning - she remained hyper intelligent too! When we walked into the Veterinarian's office I was told they needed to weigh her...so I just pointed across the room at the scale and said "up"...and she walked right over and stood on the scale, and then looked back at me. I'll really miss her, and I know many others will too...
Note that you'll still see her pop up in ads for the next month or so as those are usually pre-recorded far before airing, but she is no longer with us. Also forgive me, but I will be pretty unplugged this Thanksgiving Break until Sunday Afternoon. I need a break now more than ever...
Pay attention to announcements though - several reader mail requests for upcoming content will be dropped this week! Though I am going through mourning now, I do still look forward to a lot of the content we are working on that is coming later this year!

To me, this is the worst feeling in the world....losing a pet (cat or dog). I have nothing else to add to what the good folks said here, but, I am sorry man.

Iβve done that too many times in my life and it doesnβt feel good. Taking the proper time, getting support and working through this (as much as you can right now) is the most important thing for your wellbeing.
