When selling a product like PSVR2, the cost of the BOM probably doesn't include payments to developers to add VR to a game, acquire rights to Halflife Alex, or other marketing campaigns. Why take on VR vs just a console if you have to loose profitableity on the console to get this market going. At that price, I hope there are a lot more titles coming, like Ghost is shoshima or God of War Ragnarok in 3D versions. Then in a year or 2 make it work on PC through Steam so more 3rd party developers add VR to every game. Then Steam reinforces PS. Also, there were comments at one time that wireless was being used for some feature of PSVR2, are you certain there is no rf component to the system?
