Weekly Update! (May, week 3)

Providing weekly updates on game development progress, including news, work-in-progress images (to appropriate tiers), and write-ups, as promised!

Update 1: When is the next release coming?
Okay, work was killer for me last week. I was supposed to have the release out May 7, but obviously that didn't happen. So sorry! Unfortunately missed deadlines will continue to happen whenever work gets in the way. I still have to eat! :(

The good news - all the work stuff is over for right now. I don't want to give an official day, but I'll have it out this week! I would check back in some time after Wednesday (17th).

 
Update 2: What can be expected in the next release?
Nothing changed - we're still on track to see what I outlined in this post. 

Update 3: What am I working on?
Normally, I don't do weekly updates on a Monday, so I usually tell you what I've worked on - but since it's the beginning of the week and I haven't worked on anything, I'll tell you what I expect to work on instead, and where we are in terms of progress:

1. The Glass dialogue is complete. No change, nothing will be added. I'm happy with her story for now. 

2. The Glass character model is almost complete. I would prefer to keep working on her but she's super sexy the way she is now, and I want to get this update out so I'm going to consider her complete for now. (The 3D Model)

3. The Glass character still needs to be rigged, animated, and brought into the game engine with correct materials and animations. I'll be working on that this week. 

4. The Save System - I brought in a previous Save System from another project that I created a while back. It's working fine, but this week I'll make sure that all of your game progress is going to be correctly saved without bugs (meaning not just that you spoke to someone, but jobs already completed won't respawn, etc...)

5. Assume that all other tasks and issues I outline in the previous post are already complete and ready for deployment :)

I'm going to be concentrating on the release for this week - that means no roadmap, renders, or polls until this is out.
