As far as raster performance becoming unnecessary, I wonder if triple monitor gaming will become more popular. It would take advantage of higher pixel counts better than just adding pixel density past 4k. For me, the biggest problem in the past has been driving that many pixels, over monitor cost or desk space, and is a great middle ground for getting the vision filling immersion of VR without all of the hassle.

I agree on the memory tests. I would like to see what Zen4 can do. Hwu did test 6400 and that showed nice performance scaling. I think 6000 is more like 3600 for Zen2 and Zen3. They could also do more. I did some. Runs at 383 3 and I know some people where able to hit even higher with good samples.
