Again with 60 fps locked games for dlss3, I agree elden ring is a poor example, but skyrim and the older lego games (which are basically puzzle games) are good candidates.. Of course I'd really like to see a driver based solution like RSR, though it seems difficult to make any good without looking at motion vectors, which probably require it to be per game or at least per engine. Given the gamble of dlss2+ and FSR being included in any specific title, they're only cool tech demos to me. I don't care to check the lists of supported titles. It seems like these software tricks are becoming the best way forward, and the hardware just has to be fast enough to enable them. Similar to how h.265 is twice as efficient compression compared to h.264, but only with the necessary hardware and already high bitrates. At low bitrates they perform the same or even worse for h.265.

I feel like Dan needs to establish a few of his own sources. It seems to me he is mostly just saying what you already said when asked of his opinion. It makes the podcast seem a bit one sided.

So glad to hear some good news regarding dear Reesy πŸ• Thanks for your hardwork, Tom!
