Actually, I was genuinely curious because I've watched some of your content. That being said, I find your response quite infantile and disappointing.

This bothers you? Maybe you should get a girlfriend? Maybe a dog if you're interpersonal skills are low.

Of all the tech tubers, why is Brendon O'Connell so interested in MLiD?

Also, can you make a best conspiracy section? I say ARC is coming. They're delaying until WWIII and TSMC destruction and supply chain cut off. Then Intels fabs make a killing especially with server and gpu. And then their are the alien space monkeys manipulating the market.

Tom, Ian Cuttress dissing you over ARC is not dead. He says tea and scones and a game of cricket to settle the ARC debate. Intel say ARC here to stay and no way Intel would lie, obscufacate, lie, infer, lie, trick, lie, mumble, lie...what's happening? I presume an update is imminent. Thanks.

Patreon is pretty good. I handle extremely sensitive topics and they have always handled things well. For now anyway. It's going to get tougher though. ALL platforms will have to identify each user and operator like a bank. I was there for the golden age of online freedom and people generally behaved themselves - even sworn enemies. The quality now is a joke...Assange and Snowden revelations chased all the great posters and commentators away. Journalists, academics, industry people ran knowing they were identifiable. Now we're left with a swarm of idiot trolls - not even funny ones - and state sponsored weaponizztion of news. Well paid trolls, professionals handling 20 other ones. It's going to get tough to stay online.

pre release cpu's often have these rumors then run like 10-15c cooler once in the hands of normal users.

If I were to put my tinfoil hat on for a sec...I'd say that this is a strategic move, as Patreon gains more popularity, because as originally structured, it allows too much freedom of speech. So, ax the security team that is customer-minded, that was designed to protect creators, and bring in some unnamed 3rd party, as they stated in a tweet, so that they can bring in people who hold no allegiance to the original mission of this platform, and can begin to aggressively censor without the crisis of conscience they would've had to deal with if they kept their people.

Tom, I would love to hear your thoughts on the whole "Zen 4 is a nuclear reactor and will throttle half the time and get demolished by RPL" narrative that's been making the rounds...

No more pro-censorship than YouTube, and Patreon doesn't randomly delete channels like YT did to PC World. This is where we are staying for the foreseeable future. That's it.

Tom, Patreon might not be the place to be for long. Of course they're pro-censorship as we all know. But also, did you see they fired all of their security staff? Not feeling great about this.
