Thank you for finally someone ranting about the LTT video of shame. It's probably the only video where I have actively disliked and strongly disagree with LTT. It really seems like they didn't do their research properly at all. I don't think x86 is going away any time soon. Nor is ARM. Nor is RISC.

2022-07-18 09:43:46 +0000 UTCHi Tom, now that you have a 3090, could you try to undervolt and underclock it, so that it runs at 200W? Because if I buy a used ampere card, that's what I would do. I wonder how it compares to other 200W cards.

2022-07-15 04:38:15 +0000 UTCI agree on the 4k120 / 4k144hz target for the console refreshes. That would be very nice. Go for 5nm Zen3+ clock it over 4GHz I guess 4.2-4.4 can even be done if needed. That will give quite the increase in cpu performance. And then RDNA3 to get to 120FPS in quality preset with FSR2/3

Although to be fair, I think a lot of the new capabilities aren’t being utilized by developers, as I don’t think any of us expected cross gen to go as long as it is.
