With twice or more raster performance as a 6900xt, not to mention high image quality upscaling, what new frontiers will the next generation of GPU's open? Is raster performance "solved" for high refresh 4k at that point? Do we end up with a poly per pixel mesh density? Where else will we place that computing power? Physics? Better AI? What else?

2022-04-03 00:06:21 +0000 UTCIf i'm not mistaken I believe you mentioned you had/have a job involving network engineering (with Cisco devices?). Anyways, if that is the case, could you elaborate on how you see the hyperscalers redefining the position of the merchant sillicon vendors, or any nascent trends in networking/switching. Especially as AWS has moved to their Nitro smart NICs, Google has a contract with Intel for Mt Evans and both Intel and Nvidia have programmable switch architectures with Barefoot and NVswitch/Spectrum-4 respectively. Thank you for your time

2022-04-02 22:59:21 +0000 UTCHi Tom & NX. With the fall of Google Stadia, do you think other cloud gaming platforms like Geforce Now, xCloud, Amazon Luna will also follow suit? Why are gamers reluctant to subscribe to these services, it seems so revolutionary when Stadia was announced.

2022-04-02 21:12:40 +0000 UTCHello! Tom you have mentioned how Sony was thinking about ps5 pro, but in a recent broken silicon you also mentioned how they might have scrapped that idea. So right now what's the most likely thing to happen? I personally wish we don't have ps5 pro so ps6 could come sooner instead of another long gen for like a decade lol. PS: love both of your's content, I was actually re listening to the old console/nx gamer BSs from 2020 and then a week later NX Gamer is back!

2022-04-02 13:04:13 +0000 UTCHello! Will we ever actually get close to 4k 60 on the the current consoles? Right now on most games it seems we have a quality mode (4k 30) and performance mode (1440p 60). And why aren't we able to get near it? Is it because most games are cross gen right now?So when we get only next gen games, then can expect them to be somewhat close to 4k60?

2022-04-02 12:56:42 +0000 UTCHow viable do you see the Xbox Game Pass model in the long-term? Remember that it's not just the year-one sales of a new game release that they need to cover for, but due to game streaming, also lots and lots of server hardware that cost about 5K per rack, and operating costs.

2022-04-02 07:27:05 +0000 UTCGotta ask hard question of NX Gamer: which aspect is most important in coming near future for gaming development focus: 1) network code/connectivity online 2) graphics performance + features + latest hardware to run games 3) software quality (drivers, game code, engine code, OS choice....)
