I just switched from a R7 3700x to a R7 5800x since there was a very good deal for me here on eBay. It was quite tempting for me since I'm using a MSI X570 Tomahawk Wifi with pretty decent Samsung B-Die ( running at 3600 @ CL16 currently). So, I pretty much followed your recommendations, I guess ;)
