AMD's AM1 platform was an insane development for “Ultra Budget” Builders of the time. It allowed for builds that roughly matched (then) current gen console CPU performance at crazy low prices, and occupied a segment we hope things like AMD Monet or some Intel Gracemont-only architecture can occupy again.
