Telegrams for Guests: Semiconductor Analyst

Good evening everyone, hope you enjoyed today's livestream!

It's not 100% finalized yet, but tomorrow I will be most likely interviewing an Equity Analyst who focuses on investments in Semiconductor Companies.  I know some parts of the community will be very excited to hear this, and so even if it's not 100% nailed down yet - I wanted to give you all more than a few hours to submit Questions/Comments/Concerns.

The main focus of this discussion will be what investors looked for in previous product launches & unveilings, and what they may be looking for from AMD on Thursday.

You all have about 14 hours to submit questions.  If the guest changes, I will put out a different Telegram request (and save these questions for later).

Can you say something positive about intel at the moment, anything would be good. Like they serve good coffee for example.

What is nvidia gonna do with ARM?

Is ASML really a leading economic indicator? Why is TSMC so undervalued--Taiwan/China conflict risk? Which bank has the best semis conference? Thoughts on Broadcom director buying $36M in stock last week?

Thoughts on ASML and their leading EUV technology. What or who has the capabilities to hinder their growth?

I am excited to hear your opinion on arm and RISC-V as an long term investor's point of view, so I have two questions: 1.Nuvia (arm based) just closed their Series B funding, how much a chance do they have in becoming a major competitor in the data center market? If Nvidia did buy arm, is it going to become a risk factor for Nuvia? 2. Do you think arm or RISC-V is going to replace x86, and become the standard of everything with a processor: from smartwatch to super computer? If is it going to happen, is it within 10 years? Or longer? P.S. I really enjoy broken silicon when they bring in guests from different part of the industry for they insight. It's beautifully balance to be informative and approachable for normies like me. Thank you Tom.

Is Tesla's market value justified? Does their market value correctly indicate they have an insurmountable lead? Tesla: $386 billion Toyota: $184 billion Volkswagen: $84 billion Daimler AG: $58 billion General Motors: $43 billion Ford: $26 billion

With Intel supposedly sitting on this "Mountain Of Cash" Can they actually spend it to Buy their way out of their predicament? I work for Harvard and even though their endowment is Billions of dollars Most of it can't be touched without the allocation it was designated for. Is Intel's stockpile similar. Can they do what Global foundries did to License Process from Samsung. I doubt TSMC would divulge the secret sauce recipe to Intel for any amount of money. Can they Pull a "Steinbrenner" to buy a Championship? Thank you Tom and Guest.

Due to RISC-V being a newer architecture and SiFive not being traded publicly, I think the eyes of most of the mainstream are currently off RISC-V. However, the importance of the architecture and its potential market competitiveness cannot be understated, with Nvidia's recent talks about buying ARM greatly increasing interest in RISC-V investment. How do investors currently feel about RISC-V's recent growth, and where do you see SiFive and other companies turning to RISC-V going in the future?

Are there any other industries that you think we can draw parallels to when it comes to the situation of many individual foundries slowly becoming dominated by one or two on more advanced nodes; and if so is there still a path to competition? With how much investment that is required to create a new node or to produce anything on silicon I can't really see startups popping up and unsettling the big competitors in the foundry space, and I'm just hoping there's an answer to the question of what future foundry businesses look like that isn't "TSMC owns all the high end market with Samsung and GloFo taking up the other 40% on older cheaper nodes".

Hi Tom and guest. I have two things: first do you think that AMD is going to grow in market share more so in 2021 than 2020? Second I personally believe that the Nvidia-ARM deal is not going well (at least that is what I am hearing from vendors and partners) what do you think that the ongoing situation holds for the Semiconductor businesses? Will they push back against Nvidia's growing grip or do you think they will take a different route? Love the content keep it up.
