"random" comment on Fiji's HBM controller implementation... they had very poor effective utilization (well, terrible compared to AMD's GDDR5 (And Nvidia's GGDR5, once Maxwell hit)) of only about 65-70%. Before compression Most GDDR5 cards since GCN on AMD, and Maxwell on Nvidia's side are close to 90% before compression iirc.
