I agree about the Kagami part - though admittedly he clearly is more of a foil against GoM than an overwhelming force - Seirin rarely wins overwhelmingly against ordinary teams even with Kagami on court. I would say he only takes it up another level in those situations. The part about ordinary forms of the players, I disagree with. Sure Kagami can take each of them but they are rigid. Each member of GoM is a specialist with a very narrow line of powers. Since Kise can use any of them or multiple in conjunction it makes him way stronger - its a multiplication of their powers by each other. If Kagami went Zone, I agree that he could keep up with that to be honest. However if Kagami went zone in this game, I would expect Kise to go Zone as well - honestly I think he deserved to do it either way - he was that focused and wanted it that much. Either way I think that making it a tight game was important. Crushing Kaijo due to injury would have been unsatisfactory and Kise is just that much of a powerhouse. If there was a timeskip in this series, he would be by far the strongest in just a short amount of time, assuming his body would keep up. I admittedly love this game in many ways.
2023-07-04 13:03:36 +0000 UTCI have a problem with the Kaijo game first off Kaijo could not have kept themselves in the game without Kise, Kagami shouldve run all over them. 2nd I dont think Kise is the best player at all, he can copy the base versions of the GoMs kagami has beaten the base version of Midorima, Kise and aomine. then he used zone to beat aomine zone and murasakibara zone. Realistically if Kagami goes zone he is better than Kise because kise copies base verson while Kagami is going crazy in zone and zone lasts just as long as perfect copy. So dumb they tried to make that a tight game
