One could think that Aiura is wrong about luck coming in waves because Teruhashi exists in this world. She is quite literally blessed by God to get what she wants. Of course, someone could argue that Teruhashi wanting Saiki but being unable to get him is the giant source of bad luck that canceled out her good luck.
