So this is a bit of necromancy but I am sad nobody mentioned this. Kirisaki Dai Ichi is designed after the Bad Boy Pistons - A Detroit Pistons team from the Michael Jordan era - they were well known for extremely rough play and were his foil for a very long time. Obviously they werent actively trying to end your career like these dirtbags but that shoving and rough hitting on defense did happen. Also for the record the injuring stuff isnt completely unheard of in the professional basketball either - there are some players who are considered to be dirty - since people around them come to "accidental" injuries on the court - sometimes taking them out for season or even longer.
