I've now asked my dad about it and he confirmed that it was used as a racist term in Germany and we did some googling and it seems to have this connotation in German, but not necessarily in English, as it's being used to describe a dumb blond or sometimes just a dumb woman in general there. I thought it was interesting as I wasn't aware of this before, but yeah, now we know (tho I still haven't heard of it being used that way (guess I'm glad tho, means I probably haven't met such people yet))

I'd honestly love to hear other people who live in Germany voice their opinions on this, because I've never heard of it being a racist slur, I wonder if it's region specific or something
